作品英文描述

Lana, a young girl from an Indigenous village, watched her home suffer as river levels dropped and the land became barren due to large-scale development. Her family, dependent on farming, fell into poverty. Determined to make a change, Lana started carving ornaments from river stones, hoping the small income would help.
One day, Lana learned about a protest led by Maria, an Indigenous activist fighting for tribal rights and environmental justice. Inspired, Lana sent her ornaments along with a letter describing her village’s struggles. Maria was moved and shared Lana’s story, bringing it to the media and rallying support.
The protest gained attention, pressuring corporations to halt harmful projects and invest in restoring affected villages. Lana’s village began to recover, embracing sustainable livelihoods that respected their culture and traditions.
Later, Lana visited Maria in the city, gifting her a stone bracelet. “Thank you for giving us hope and a future,” she said.
