作品英文描述
This dual-piece series contrasts the grim reality and the hopeful vision of Taiwan’s ocean conservation (SDG 14).
Piece 1 (The Challenge): An ultra-realistic apocalyptic illustration of Taiwan’s coast. Taipei 101 stands isolated under a stormy sky while industrial chimneys belch black smoke. Underwater, a distressed green sea turtle is trapped in nets, surrounded by dense plastic waste, including highly recognizable bubble tea cups. This serves as a stark warning about local consumption habits challenging TCE 6 (Environmental Protection).
Piece 2 (The Vision): An ideal blueprint for a sustainable Taiwan. Offshore wind turbines and Taipei 101 harmonize under a bright sky, showcasing TCE 8 (Modern Technology) leadership. The water is pristine, revealing a vibrant coral reef. Volunteers actively clean the beach (TCE 12), highlighting that community commitment is the essential action needed for achieving oceanic rebirth.
創作動機
The primary motivation is to use AI visual art to deliver a compelling message to the public regarding Taiwan’s critical ocean crisis (SDG 14). As an island nation, Taiwan’s future is inseparable from its marine environment. The work’s extreme contrast—from industrial chaos to renewable harmony—serves as a visual ultimatum. We aim to inspire a collective commitment to TCE 6 (Environmental Protection) and highlight that the ideal future (achieved through TCE 12 Community Action) is within our reach, provided we act now.
心得與反思
The creative process highlighted the immense visual power of AI in transforming abstract sustainability issues into a stark, emotional reality. Seeing familiar symbols like the bubble tea cup in a toxic environment strongly linked consumption habits to the crisis. Our core reflection is that pollution is not destiny. Achieving a sustainable future critically requires the environmental commitment of TCE 6 (Environmental Protection), driven by the collective action and dedication of TCE 12 (Community Engagement), transforming individual awareness into a societal solution.
