Postcard 1 depicts the significant air pollution caused by the development of cities and industries, which demand a large amount of electricity. Through this postcard, we hope to raise awareness about the issue of air pollution. Postcard 2 portrays Taiwan after the healthy development of green energy, with lush vegetation showcasing the island’s scenic beauty and reflecting the vision for Taiwan’s green energy policies.
創作動機
The creation of these two postcards is prompted by Taiwan’s ongoing promotion of green energy policies. The question arises: Is immediate nuclear phase-out the correct approach? If we do not gradually transition to nuclear-free energy while nurturing green alternatives, would increasing the proportion of thermal power generation exacerbate air pollution, making it a preferable choice? While nuclear accidents are undoubtedly terrifying, they occur with lower probability, whereas pollution from thermal power generation is a constant presence. Hence, these postcards serve as a platform to convey my thoughts on air and environmental pollution.
心得與反思
I found the AI postcard creation process to be very interesting this time around. I had never used AI drawing tools before, but after discovering the AI postcard creation contest, I delved deeper into researching them. I also gained some insights along the way. There were many English terms in the postcard-making software, which helped me expand my vocabulary. Overall, this competition has been very rewarding for me.
